Philip’s Gear
Philip is endorsed by Yamaha and his main basses include several TRB-6 basses, a BB5000 fretless and a Hohner V(five). The
black TRB-6 bass pictured above has a Roland G-50 synth pickup. The Hohner has EMG's in it and has the right "attitude". The
BB5000 has EMG pickups. Pictured below is Philip’s upright/electric bass. Click here to visit Yamaha’s web site.

Philip uses Carvin amps exclusively and is also endorsed by Carvin. For club gigs he uses both Carvin Pro Bass 100 and 200
amps together. It gives a nice punchy sound. For large gigs he uses a Carvin RSP 1000 with an 8 x.10 cabinet. It’s nice and loud but if you stand too close, it’ll hurt you! Click here to visit Carvin’s web site.
Philip is also using the new Carvin BRX amps. He uses the BRX1500 head.

Philip’s pedal board (above) features a Boss TU12H tuner, MXR Stereo Chorus, Digitech Bass Synth Wah and Morley A/B and Distortion Wah Volume.

This pedal board (above) has a Morley A/B box, Korg GT-3 Tuner, Boss Bass Synthesizer, Sansamp Pass Driver DI, Yamaha NE1 Parametric EQ all powered by a Dunlop DC Brick power supply.

Philip also uses the Roland GR-20 Synth module and Zoom B2.1u Effects Processor.
Pedals
Philip uses and is endorsed by Morley pedals and will occasionally use Danelectro pedals on loan from Steve Vai. Click here to visit the Morley web site.
Strings
Philip uses Labella Strings. Click here to visit the Labella web site.
Synth Module
Philip uses a "Planet Phatt" module. It’s very function and programmer friendly. There are a few Keybass songs where he was able to prep sounds on the spot.
